This popular Thursday night ritual also includes three draft beers and, for the very brave, outdoor Karaoke.
The outback barbeque is the perfect place for a family or group of friends to relax on a Thursday night. Highlights of the Greenport.us staff’s recent visit included interesting renditions of Charlie Daniels’ “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” “Summer Nights,” from Grease, and Sir Mix a Lot’s “Baby Got Back.” Of course, the Chowder Pot staff was friendly and helpful; while owner Dean Eichorn was on hand to make sure the barbeque ran as smoothly as it has for the past two decades.
Family friendly, affordable and fun, The Chowder Pot is the perfect spot for dinner or drinks in season or off. Don’t be surprised if you can’t get a seat, however, because this fantastic little hole in the wall is a top choice among locals and visitors.
